Junior ColdFusion Developer — Hampton, VA

SAIC is looking for a Jr. ColdFusion developer in Hampton VA. Extensive details are below but the jist of it is that you must be familiar with ColdFusion, AJAX and SQL. U.S. citizens only since you will be required to get a security clearance.
The Operational Intelligence and Security (OIS) Business Unit currently has an opening for a Junior Software Developer.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The design, creation, maintenance, and testing of web applications using ColdFusion, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Transact SQL, ASP, VBScript, and ASP.net with SQL Server databases.
SCOPE: Under close supervision, supports software development, enhancements, testing, and maintenance efforts. Learns how to convert requirements into functional web pages. Audits and tests software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures. Learns software coding guidelines and generates code according those guidelines. Produces test documentation and runs software through test procedures. Debugs and characterizes defects, providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for test reports. Follows configuration management procedures. May perform other technical and documentation tasks. Works on problems that are semi-routine in nature. Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information. Candidate should have knowledge/experience of the SDLC. The qualified candidate must be detail-oriented and highly motivated self-starter that is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Associate Degree or higher, or 1-2 years relevant technical experience.
OTHER DESIRE SKILLS: Must be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance. Experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, SourceGear Vault, Enterprise Manager, Database Development, Adobe Photoshop, Technical Writing, knowledge of CMMI a plus. Any past Air Force Intelligence Systems experience is a plus as well.
